Amrita Vir has been in the financial inclusion space for over ten years, starting with founding a microfinance non-profit in college.
She has worked in management consulting, the U.S. Treasury Department, and directed the first-ever US-based regtech TechSprint with the Alliance for Innovative Regulation (AIR).
Additionally, Amrita has worked at several global fintechs, including Blender (Israel), Cignifi (U.S. and Latin America), and Grab Financial (Southeast Asia). Amrita currently leads driver lending at Grab across Southeast Asia.
Amrita currently runs the Green Room webinar and podcast series focused on entrepreneurs and thought leaders in Southeast Asia, supported by the ASEAN Financial Innovation Network (AFIN), Oxygen by APIX, and Brankas. Amrita holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
